Capabilities and limits
Who on your team can do what in Helpdesk, and the meters a platform can limit per site.
Capabilities
Administrators hold every capability. Custom roles and per-user grants can hand out any of them (see Users and roles). The same checks decide which routes and agent tools a session can use.
| Capability | Label | What it allows | Granted by default to |
|---|---|---|---|
helpdesk.tickets:read | View tickets | View every ticket and internal note. | administrator, editor |
helpdesk.tickets:reply | Reply to tickets | Post public replies and internal notes. | administrator, editor |
helpdesk.tickets:assign | Assign tickets | Assign a ticket and hand it over. | administrator |
helpdesk.tickets:publish | Publish tickets | Make a ticket public. | administrator |
helpdesk.tickets:delete | Delete tickets | Delete or purge tickets. | administrator |
helpdesk.secrets:reveal | Reveal secrets | Reveal encrypted ticket data. Each reveal is recorded. | administrator |
helpdesk.settings:manage | Manage helpdesk settings | Change helpdesk settings. | administrator |
helpdesk.reports:read | Read helpdesk reports | Read helpdesk counts. | administrator |
The Support agent role holds read, reply, and assign, without any other site access.
Usage meters
A platform can limit Helpdesk per site with quota meters named justflows.helpdesk.<meter>. With no limit set, a meter is unlimited. Subscription plans in Shop can set them.
