Payment links
Commerce → Payment links asks for a payment without a product in the catalog: a deposit, an invoice you agreed by email, or a custom job. Every payment becomes an ordinary Shop order, paid with the gateway the shop already uses, so it gets an order number, an invoice, emails, and reporting like any other order.
| Link | How it works |
|---|---|
| One-off, for a named customer | Needs an amount. The order opens straight away, and the link closes once it is paid. |
| One-off, without a customer | Needs an amount. The customer signs in, opens /payment-link, and the order opens when they continue. |
| Reusable | Can be paid more than once. Each payment opens its own order. |
| Customer enters the amount | Leave the amount empty. The customer types it in before paying. |
Staff copy a link from this page and send it themselves; the page never sends staff to pay it. The customer pays while signed in, and the link appears on their account. Mollie has to be on.
