Elsa Workflows / Hosting
Shared pool and dedicated servers
On a multisite installation, each site uses one Elsa server, chosen by workspace features on the Platform:
| Placement | When | Server |
|---|---|---|
| Main site | Always | The server saved under Elsa → Connection. |
| Shared pool | The workspace has Elsa shared pool on. | The main site's server. The address and credentials stay on the main site; the subsite never sees them. |
| Dedicated server | The workspace has Elsa dedicated server on, or a server is saved for the workspace. | The server entered on the Elsa card under Platform → Workspace. |
- Every site gets its own Elsa tenant (
jffollowed by the site id). Calls send it asX-Tenant-Id, and a tenant-aware server only returns that tenant's workflows and executions. - When the server offers tenant management, Justflows creates the tenant on the first call. The main site's overview shows how many tenants the server has.
- A Shop subscription plan can turn the workspace features on, like any other limit.
- Remove this server on the workspace card sends its sites back to the shared pool.
